Deep water running  like the rain on an airborne dragon's wing,  give me serenity and calm,  for my tired body is aching and cold.   
Heavy earth below,  stable and peaceful like a sage of the East,  lend me your roots,  for my mind is flying away.   
Light winds stroking my chin  like the fingers of a loved one,  let my movements float and soar  for I feel heavy and worn.

The sound of the old piano  which I will never play again  wafting slowly through the empty room  where dust has settled  in what used to be my home.   
And now, where do I belong,  what is my purpose here?  I was driven here by melancholy,  now I'm bound to it by my fear.   
Ah, to roam, but yet -  leaving would be betrayal -  too dangerous, to set  my feet outside the door...

Riding through the dark woods  bare trees glistening in the light  of a cruel, cold moon;  she seems to laugh, that deceitful mistress of mine.   
The air is cold, the horse old, tired,  for he has seen many winters,  and much sorrow and toil;  she seems to laugh, that deceitful mistress of mine.

Poison IvyPoison Ivy   
Poison, sweet poison  running through my veins  a cliché story told today,  a memory that never ends.   
See the moon over my castle;  I built it's walls solid and deep.  And all this glamour seems to dazzle  whatever hides in this well's deep.   
Ivy overruns my castle now  corroding the ancient stones.  Poison ivy crown upon my brow;  I lay a curse upon your bones.

Hi, I'm Miny. I'm mainly a musician (check out my website at www.minyaliel.com), but I love to write, paint and create on a hobby basis. My current passion is acrylic painting - specifically fantasy art. I really have a strong fascination with faeries and other such creatures as of now, and tend to paint them all the time.
